Dorchester Neighbourhood Policing Team Weekly Update
Here’s a quick round up for this week, from the Neighbourhood Team
Assisted Response colleagues at a variety of emergency calls
Two missing people located
One vehicle seized. Vehicle suspected to be used in the recent theft of a van. Enquires continue
Guarded a detained person whilst they received urgent medical attention in hospital
First Aid provided to an elderly male who had fallen in Poundbury
2x Section 35 Dispersal Orders issued to persons found acting anti-socially in the town centre
Assisted a local housing provider with the eviction of a nuisance tenant, to prevent a breach of the peace
2x Community Resolutions issued
Plain clothed foot patrol in the town centre targeting shoplifting. One male stopped and searched after he was witnessed by Officers concealing bottles of spirits in a bag. Alcohol seized and returned to the shop. Male reported to Court for theft and an offence under the Public Order Act
Follow up work with the parents of young people who have recently been identified for causing anti-social behaviour in Poundbury
